We just completed our first NPCC audit, and it could not have gone better. The staff at Utility Services did an excellent job of guiding us through data preparation and submission of the audit materials. This was our first NPCC audit, and we were found to be 100% compliant with all of the applicable audited requirements. In fact, US made our job even easier by determining, and documenting, that half of the audited requirements did not even apply to our utility. Brian and his staff proved to be invaluable, and we look forward to working with them on subsequent NPCC audits and other compliance issues.
We have had the good fortunate of working with Utility Services since 2008. During this time the NERC rules and regulations have significantly changed. Nonetheless, Utility Services has continued to provide timely, consultative advice and subject matter clarity, with the customer's needs always in mind. After a successful CIP and 693 audit, I can honestly say, having Utility Services provide direction and guidance has been an asset.

Using Utility Services made my job that much easier and less stressful in preparation of our 2012 NERC audit. The staff guided us through potential ambiguous areas and pitfalls, and helped to clarify our responses which minimized follow up questions from NERC staff. Utility Service staff laid the preparatory process out very well, and right from the beginning, identified supporting documentation that would assist us in our audit. I am very happy with US, and will continue to use them for both our audit preparation and everyday compliance monitoring needs.

The staff at Utility Services has been life savers. As a small utility, we don’t have an engineer on staff. Gaining the knowledge to keep up with the NERC reliability standards, understanding them, and adequately maintaining the necessary paperwork would be extremely difficult and costly without the assistance of Utility Services. Brian offers his services at a reasonable rate and puts considerable effort into his responsibilities. He stays on top of everything that is required for NERC, so we don’t have to.
