Alan Freeman-Scott is an independent consultant specializing in System Protection and Control. Alan has experience with system protection compliance standards for transmission and generation owners and was responsible for fault event analysis and misoperation reporting during his time at AVANGRID. Alan has worked with Information Security groups inside of San Diego Gas & Electric generating security requirements for operational networks being deployed in Southern California, and has experience with NERC CIP standards.
