The Mad River Valley Little League started in 1960 and is made up of kids from four small Vermont towns: Warren, Waitsfield, Moretown, and Fayston. Typically, kids in the valley start playing t-ball at age 5. However, this year, there was such a big interest in playing the sport – that the head of t-ball opened up the program to kids as young as 3 and a half. The Clover Green T-ballers are all first-time players – and it’s been so amazing watching them grow. They have already learned so much in the course of a few months. These kids will continue to play together up to Farm League (age 7), which gives us lots of time to shape them into ball players. The green team is sponsored by Green Rabbit bread, and if you’re ever in the Mad River Valley, you HAVE to have this bread.
